ABOUT DEMARCO

Over the past decade, De'Marco Fomby has been working to live out his passion — inspiring and motivating young people to become the absolute best they can be.

He travels the country as a youth inspirational speaker, using his background in music, sports, and mentoring, to reach thousands of schools and student organizations nationwide. He encourages teenagers to use their passion as their power, and through those passions, they can change the world with their influence.

In addition to motivational speaking, De’Marco utilizes his degrees in Psychology and Business Administration by working as a consultant — coordinating conferences and implementing programs and prevention strategies ranging from Alcohol, Tobacco, and other drug prevention, to Youth Highway Safety, Juvenile Justice, bullying, and leadership development.

When De'Marco isn't in front of students singing and playing the latest Drake, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, or Da Baby songs, he enjoys watching Disney classics and 90's cartoons. He also enjoys fishing, PlayStation, playing golf, cooking, and spending time with his greatest passion and motivation — his 7 year old daughter, Lailah.

De'Marco vehemently believes that the youth of today can change the landscape of the world around them — not only with music, sports, and dance, but things like compassion, integrity, humility, honesty, and an uncompromising spirit. These traits can all be used as "Powerful; Passions that can change other People's Perspective!"

His "mantra" - #MakeThemRememberU is derived from the famous quote by the Phenomenal Dr. Maya Angelou. She says, " people will forget what you say. They will even forget what you do, but they will never forget how you make them feel." DeMarco believes that by using his passions as power, he's able to change the world one song, one smile, one speech, one handshake or high-five at a time.
